Rise explores woman’s spirit and nature to fight, to survive, to live, to love and remain; to go on. 

The main character is the most inspirational woman in my life - my mother. The journey of the cancer patient is long, winding and obscure. Cancer was my mother’s  biggest hardship in life, her battle with the disease. She beat it. 

Then, today and every day she’s a warrior. She takes one day at the time. She fights for herself and for her family. She still has that sparkle in her eyes, and that makes me admire her even more - a universal lesson in appreciating life’s joys, no matter what happens to us.

This project is a tribute to my mother and any woman, who has been directly affected by a breast cancer diagnosis.
